This is the clutch unit that works with the soft shade clutch system. This is the main piece of the clutch system. The clutch unit is rotated by the bead chain... when the clutch unit rotates it rotates a fiberglass rod which in turn winds your lift cord neatly around the rod. If you're ordering your clutch system parts individually, then you will need one clutch unit for each roman shade. Most roman shades only need the 15 LB clutch unit. If you a very wide and very heavy roman shade... over 90"... then you will want the 30 LB clutch unit. Be sure to order the 30 LB rod support brackets to go with it.
