Easily create your austrian valance or austrian shade with our austrian shade tape. Simply sew the austrian tape on your fabric panel where you want your cords to be. Then pull on the 2 tape cords to shirr the austrian tape creating your gathers. Shirr the top of your valance by either sliding it onto a curtain rod (as shown in the photo) or by shirring the top with the austrian tape and stapling the shade to a board.
