What is your shipping policy?

Drapery Sewing Supplies Shipping Policy

Please read this entire page about our shipping policy.

 

Every effort is made to ship your order the same day or next business day, but due to high volumes of orders there will be times that your order does not ship the next business day.

 

Your order will ship by the selected shipping method you chose during checkout. 

 

You will have the choice of:

USPS Priority Mail = 3-5 business days

UPS Ground          = up to 5 business days

UPS 2nd Day         = 2 business days

UPS Next Day Air  = 1 business day
UPS Standard - Canada ONLY
UPS WorldWide

USPS Priority Mail is NOT an expedited service. It IS fast, but it is not considered an expedited service.  Any order that is over a pound will be shipped USPS Priority Mail unless a UPS option is selected.

 

Expedited Orders

Even if you choose Next Day Air for your shipping, this does not guarantee that your order will ship same day to get to you by tomorrow. Your order is in queue with the other orders placed within the system and it will be processed in a first come first serve fashion.

Shipping Costs

Every effort is made to provide accurate weights on all items.

Shipping fees are calculated by weight and your location.

You are ultimately responsible for shipping charges. If your shipping cost is more than the estimated shipping cost quoted to you on the web site, we will contact you to arrange payment for the additional amount. Your actual shipping costs may be higher than what's quoted on the web site if your shipment must go into more than one package or the weight of your package is higher than expected.

 

**International Orders**
Please allow more time for customs processing. Once your package is received within customs we do not know how long it will take to get to you. Add at least another 3 business days to your shipping time.

You are responsible for all duties and taxes on your shipment. If or when the shipping company bills us for the duties on your package, you will see an additional charge on your account for this amount.

 

UPS and USPS Delivery Confirmation

All packages are shipped with delivery confirmation. Meaning that when the package is delivered it is scanned by UPS or the postman. When the tracking ID is referenced by any of these shipping systems, it will note the date and time the package was delivered. If you are missing a package and the tracking ID for that package states that it was delivered, the issue is with the shipping service. All efforts to find the package with the shipping service must be exhausted before another package can be shipped out. Many times the package was left on the wrong front step, so please check with your neighbors.

 

Backorders

Every effort is made to ensure that the inventory count is accurate in the system, but there will be times that an item is out of stock even when the web site doesn't say so. Your order will ship as soon as the backordered item is back in stock. We will notify you by email when an item is on backorder. You can also login to your account to see if your order has been backordered.

Many times, your order will ship without the backordered item, so that you have your other items to work with. When we receive the backordered item, we will ship it to you via USPS first class mail. 

  

Returns due to incorrect shipping address

Your package will ship to the shipping address you place on your order. If your package is returned to us because there is a mistake or missing information in the shipping address you provided, you will be charged the additional shipping charges to reship the package to the correct shipping address.

If we made the error on the shipping label, we will, of course, pay the "reship" charges.

UPS charges us a $5 fee if they have to correct the address in route and successfully deliver your item. When this occurs, you will see a $5 charge on your account as well. This may take up to 30 days before you see this additional charge.

So, please... make sure you enter your correct address and suite or apartment number if necessary.
